Most of our travellers ask for some reasonably priced accommodation. So we search and try to bring you the best prices for the good quality accommodation.
We choose the accommodation close to the historical centre, or close to the public transport system. Clean and comfortable. we also prefer places with "the soul" - small family hotels with personal touch, pensions in the old historical houses.
In Prague it is really convenient to choose a hotel near the historical centre of Prague (in or near Praha 1).
For the cheaper rates I would recommend to google accommodation located in streets on the edge of the the historical areas. Streets: Hybernska, Soukenicka, Truhlarska, V celnici, Jungmannova, Spalena, Kremencova, Ostrovni, Narodni, Ujezd, Nosticova, U Zelezna Lavky, U Luzickeho seminare, Hellichova.
The hotels located out of the centre usually offer much better price. So if you do not mind 30 minutes of the extra transport every day .. it might be a good choice.

"At The Big Boot" is a small family hotel in an old renaissance-looking burgher´s house in Malá Strana. The rooms have been refurbished to suit the needs of contemporary life, and are furnished with modern facilities, electric heating, telephone, genuine period furniture, lights and decorations. Each room is different in size, type and ambience.
The house was rebuilt by Santini de Bossi before 1669, and now has been carefully restored and maintained by technologies of the old times. A lot of the antic furniture is all around the hotel. Hotel guests may appreciate the house´s background facilities, such as a breakfast room and cellars that are used as a clubroom.

It is located 15 minutes walk from the Prague Castle or the Charles Bridge. / 5 min. walk to the Nicolas Church. / 30min. to the Old Town Square. / 10 min. walk to the tram stop
Area information: It is situated in a tranquil Little quarter, historical area, opposite the Lobkowitz Palace - today´s offices of the German Embassy.

Private apartment in a completely reconstructed and refurbished historical residential house originally built in 1890. The modern character of the reconstruction enables an easy access to the apartment, suitable also for the handicapped. One-level access by lift. Convenient connection to local transport. There are bedroom, 25 sq.m.sq. - sleeps 3 to 4 guests (two single beds, one comfortable fold-out bed), living room with kitchenette and dining area, 27 sq.m., sleeps 1 to 2 guests(fold-out sofa), bathroom(toilet, bathtub & shower) at your disposal.
Location
Located on the border of the "touristy" and "real life" Prague.
Convenient connection to local transport (tram 22 stop is 5 minutes nearby).
It takes only 20 min. walk to the Prague Castle, or 15 min. walk to the Lesser Town. And by the tram
20 min. to the Old Town (15 min by tram + 5 min walk). The tram lines go jus in front of the house.
Area
As it is non touristy area, there are lovely local shops and local restaurants with great meals for prices hardly comparable to the town centre.
We recommend restaurant www.u-bileholva.cz. There are several historical sights nearby - Prague castle, monastery Strahov, Hradcany Town.
