What is the best itinerary for the Prague holiday? How to cover all important sights, but enjoy sightseeing in a relaxed way. How to get the most of your Prague visit? After 20 years of local guide experience we recommend this: "Ideal Itinerary Tour".
The best way to explore Prague is to divide the tour in two smaller portions - two half days. This way you can enjoy a more detailed and less exhausting touring. You will have free afternoons for your interests (boat tour, galleries, museums, shopping, concerts, black light theatre, etc.).
See the most famous historical areas, the best of Prague, the most important sights, galleries, but also hidden poetic places. Your private guide will tell you about the architecture, history, every day life and answer all your questions. Moreover you will get a lot of ideas for your free time, tips on local museums, restaurants, shops etc.
You can stop and relax any time you like. The itinerary and timing of all the tours is very flexible. Your interests will shape the tour!
To make your tour more pleasant your guide will meet you at the hotel reception (at any time you prefer) and you will discuss the plans and your questions.
First day you can explore the Old Town with amazing astronomical clock, the mystic Jewish Town and modern heart of Prague - The New town with the Wenceslas Square area.
You can start again at your hotel and enjoy a walking tour of the noble Hradcany Town, the majestic Prague Castle, the quaint Little Quarter and you can promenade across the legendary Charles Bridge.
You can do all the tour without paying any entry and it will be a very interesting tour. But if you love history or art - your guide will explain you about the sights, show you some pictures and you can decide during the tour if you want to visit the particular interior and pay the entry (80-100 CZK for towers and churches, 100-300 CZK for museums, 450 CZK for the castle, 500 CZK for the Jewish Museum).
You will get every day 30 minutes free of charge to sit down, relax and chat with your guide. We want to personalize the tour for you so we offer you time to relax over a coffee, draw into maps, answer your questions and talk about the local life. Mingle with locals :-)
Prague historic centre is very compact, so it can be easily covered by the walking tour. If necessary, we can use the local efficient trams (1 ticket = 2 EUR) or a faster taxi (20 EUR for 2 p.).
