KUTNÁ HORA AND THE BONE CHURCH

Local rich silver mines let Kutna Hora town
grow into Bohemia's second most important city in the medieval times. The
legacy of this glorious epoch can be seen in the nice historical buildings
that line the cobblestone streets. Walking along the old streets you can visit:
the Italian Court - the former coin mint and the temporary seat of
the Czech kings in the 15th century. Breathe the Gothic atmosphere in the
imposing Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara. Do not miss the Bone Church - Ossuary
in Sedlec - a church decorated with human bones. The adventurers can enjoy the
Czech silver museum that offers the challenging excursion of the real old
mine pit (narrow, dark corridors, underground)
Approximate itinerary
9:00 departure Prague, 10:15 Visit of St. Barbara Cathedral, 11:00 visit
of the Italian Court or other sightseeing option), 12:30 walk around the
historical town and have a snack, 13:30 visit the Bone Church -
Ossuary, 14:00 depart 15:30 arrive to Prague
Sightseeing options
1) Italian Court - royal seat and mint museum (40 min, Ticket 105 CZK/ 85 CZK
reduced). Open all year. For little fee you can make your own coin!
2) Visit of the mine pit - advance booking
necessary! (original narrow corridors, 50m and 20 minutes
underground) + mining museum (90 min, Ticket 160 CZK/ 120 CZK reduced,
1.12.-30.3. closed, closed on Mondays)
3) Bone Church - Ossuary (30 min, Ticket 90 CZK/ reduced 60 CZK, open all
year)
4) Chocolate Museum and tasting (open all year 10-17, entry voluntary) - small
museum
We recommend the combined ticket for the Ossuary, Cathedral of Sedlec and Cathedral of St. Barbara (220 CZK/ reduced 155 CZK)
Prices include: guide service, transfer service and the time
for one "Sightseeing Option" listed above, according to your choice,
all taxes, parking fees, water available in the vehicle.
If you ask for more sightseeing options, the exceeding time cost 900 CZK
per hour.
Prices do not include: Entry fees for the interior tours, train
tickets or meals.
