LITTLE QUARTER - "The dreaming town"
Minimal duration: 1 hour
From the castle we will walk down through the quaint Little Quarter full of aristocratic renaissance and baroque houses, wonderful palaces and churches. The local poetic streets could be seen in the film Amadeus. The renowned Czech writer Jan Neruda used to live here. His name was borrowed and used by the famous Pablo Neruda! You should not miss the church of St. Nicholas - the most beautiful and pompous baroque church of Prague. W.A. Mozart played the organ here.
If you like we can add the visit of the spacious baroque Wallenstein palace and its garden or the nearby church with the miraculous "Infant of Prague". We can also visit some of the beautiful palace Gardens or take a funicular up to Petřín hill … and much more.

CHARLES BRIDGE - "Feel the pure magic"
Minimal duration: 1 hour
We will promenade across the oldest bridge of Prague, the Charles bridge, decorated with 30 old picturesque statues and the most beautiful gothic bridge tower in Europe. The bridge has been standing since 1357, thanks to - legend says - eggs mixed into the mortar. If you touch the magic five star sign you can make a wish and the power of the saints will help you … Here, you can really breathe in the true atmosphere of Prague, get back into the times of golden Prague. Very romantic!! Maybe you will recognize the scenery from the first Mission Impossible movie.
Near the bridge you can also see the area calledPrague Venice with the side channel called Devil stream and the famous painted anti-communist John Lennon Wall. At the end of the bridge you can see the gigantic Klementinum, a former Jesuit College which serves as the National Library today.

PRAGUE JEWISH TOWN - "The precious heritage"
Minimal duration: 1 hour
Here we will immerse into Jewish Town - Josefov, with the oldest active Synagogue in Europe, the Old Jewish Cemetery (also Europe's oldest surviving), and the birth place of the mysterious writer Franz Kafka. Take note of the Jewish town hall clock which has hands that run backwards! We learn about the rabbi Jehuda Löw Benzalel, who made the mysterious creature Golem.
If you like to see more details in this area - we can enter the Prague Jewish museum. Exhibition is located in the 4 synagogues and the cemetery. You can see here the Europe's biggest collection of sacred Jewish artifacts (3 hours tour, entry fee 330CZK). Ironically, most of the collections were created under Nazi occupation, when Jewish people were transported to concentration camps and left their property behind. Instead of a flower, do not forget to bring a stone to the Old Jewish Cemetery.

OLD TOWN - "The heart of Prague"
Minimal duration: 1,5 hour
Entering the Old Town through the black Powder Gate, notice the pearl of Art Nouveau - the representative Municipal house. Strolling through the oldest streets and secret yards of the city, we reach the Old Town Square. There are many astonishing sights: the baroque, gateau-like St. Nicholas church, the Kinský Palace - the city’s finest rococo facade, the gothic House at the Stone Bell, the spiky-topped Church of Our Lady before Týn, the old customs station of the Týn court, the modern delightful cubist House at the Black Madonna and much more. The Old Town Square is dominated with the Jan Hus Statue and the Old Town Hall (damaged by Nazis in W.W. II). You shouldn't miss the truly amazing Astronomical Clock with the hourly show - 12 apostles appearing in two windows and the skeleton ringing the bell. Next you will see the place where the Habsburg empire bloodily executed 27 Czech noblemen in 1621. The guide will tell you about the dark times in Czech history that followed. Then we will continue along towards the Charles University (the oldest in central Europe) and the Estates Theatre, where Mozart's Don Giovanni was premiered, and later Milos Forman’s famous Amadeus was filmed.
If you like, we can also visit the astounding St James's church, where a shriveled arm of thief from the year 1400 hangs! … and much more. We can also reach the tower of the Town Hall (by lift :-) and enjoy a panoramic view.

NEW TOWN OF PRAGUE - "Nowadays Prague"
Minimal duration: 1 hour
The modern heart of Prague is the Wenceslas Square, where the Velvet Revolution took place in 1989. This place shows some of the Czech modern architecture and witnessed a lot of modern history. The building on the top of the Square, the National Museum, is so dominant and monumental that the Soviet invaders of 1968 attacked it, mistaking it for a government building (let that speak for the culture of a nation!). On the steps of the museum, the student Jan Palach set himself on fire in protest against the invasion. Bring a flower and revere his brave deed at his memorial.
If you like modern art, do not miss the passages with the hidden parody of the St. Wenceslas statue - unlike the original on the square, the modern one rides a horse which is hanging upside down. If you like, we can walk to the Charles Square or explore the modern town life of Prague people - local breweries, wine bars, shopping, the Museum of Communism, the Art Nouveau Museum ... and much more.
