We recommend several private apartments run by the individual Czech people who are not overrated by some travel agencies. You book directly with them.
The hotels located out of the centre usualy offer much better price. So if you do not mind 30 minutes of the extra transport every day .. it might be a good choice.

General info:
This privately owned pension operates in a building of historical importance from the 14th century.
It has been renovated to retain its original character and charm.
The upper levels have been converted to offer 6 double rooms and 3 triple rooms, each with it's own bathroom and toilet, direct dial phone.
The rooms provide guests with a peaceful atmosphere for both relaxation and work.
If you have knee problems- please note there are several steps, but no lift (very usual in the old Prague houses.)
Location
The 'Green Garland Pension' (B&B) is located in the historical center of Prague and within a short walk or easy reach of major tourist and cultural attractions (Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, Prague Castle, theaters and concert halls).
Area
Historical area of the Old Town - highly recommended. You feel the spirit of the town when you open the window! It takes only 5-10minutes to walk to famous and touristically attractive localities such as the Charles Bridge or the Old Town Square.
